A Formula for Success

I’m currently training for my first marathon. I have a training plan that I follow. The idea is that if I follow this plan to the letter, I will be able to run a marathon. Of course, I haven’t read the fine print that absolves the plan creator of any responsibility for my potential failure. The plan says that it is a marathon training plan and is even called “Marathon Training Program” or something like that. This is enough for me to believe that by respecting it, I will be able to run a marathon.
